week 7-completing the first module



10am until 1.00pm, we just sit and finish our 1st module. Ma'am is walking around the class to give a hand if we have any problems regarding the module.Some of the task in this module is not familiar to. So I will ask my friends and they are willingly to help me.
being a teacher is not writing on the board using chalk, but equips yourself with lots of knowledge so that you can improve yourself and help other people too.Nowadays, technology plays important role in every thing. If we do not update with all the advancement, we will be "katak di bawah tempurung"

working very hard to finish my works.

week6-Module


This module is some sort of tutorial that we will be doing for the whole course. In that module, we will about photo and video editing, publisher, music, songs and many more. There are 5 modules need to be completed until the end of semester.This week Ma'am has distributed Module 1 and she gave us 2 weeks to complete it. Module 1 is about Computer and Internet Skill. It teaches us step to find a picture, how to find a song, email, encoding, storing file, burning file, websearch and so on. We need to follow what has been written on the tutorial and print screen it.

It's just like you are attending computer class for free because you just follow the steps and then print screen it and finish!This module actually suitable to be used for children because it is easy yet the instruction is easy to understand.

Steps of making this tutorial.
1. Copy the instruction first.
2. Open the web
3. Press PRTSC and FN(together) button on your laptop.
4. Paste it on your powerpoint slide
5. Repeat the step until you finish it.
6. Finish!

Basically these are steps that need to be practiced util the whole module is completed.


By doing this module it is hope that my computer and internet skills will be improved.

week 5-technological and non-technological teaching aids





Teaching aids are material that we will be using during teaching and learning activities with the students. As a teacher it's very important to choose good teaching aids because it will bring impact to the students to pay attentive attention towards the lesson or not.This week we were required to produce teaching aids from Year1 until Year 6 lesson.We will be working as a pair with different gender and my partner would be Chill Snail aka Muhammad Nursyafiq.

We have been assigned to find material for year1,2,3.

In the format given, we need to find material whether technology or non-technology for every stage starts with introduction until closure. We need to give rationale why we choose that materials and describe about it.
This task enables us in selecting appropriate, interesting teaching aids that we can us to teach pupils.

week 4-class cancelled



As early as 7am, i got a message told that "there is no Resources class for today because Pn Fauziah needs to attend a course". A big hooray for me as i don't have to drive my car and be in a traffic jammed.

Since i have taken my bath and my body feel fresh, i decided to finish other works that need to be submitted next week. Procrastination is a thief of time.

Then, i should use my time wisely! My Math class will start at 2pm so i got ample time to do my reading and my other works. See you next week Resources class!

Week 3-meeting with Susan Halliwell

We were asked to open Susan Haliwell's book entitled "Teaching English in a Primary Classroom".The first chapter would be "Working with Young Language Learners".There are six characteristics need to be discuss by us according to our own group.

a) children's ability to grasp meaning
b) children's creative use of limited language resources.
c) children's instinct for play and fun
d) the role of imagination
e) the instinct for interaction and talk.

My group has been given to discuss "children's instinct for play and fun".Learning occurs in two ways: direct and indirect learning. Direct learning is a formal learning where indirect learning is informal learning. Children often appear to learn in indirect experiences. They subconsciously acquire certain knowledge and skills. The best part of children’s learning is when they can learn and have some fun. in classroom pupils love to be in their own world which means they love to play a game based on their understanding.For example if teacher teaches them about direction, the kids will act like driving a car while making a honking sound and acting like giving signal. they actually bring in whatever experience there learn outside the class into their lesson. Hence, it becomes indirect learning for them as sometimes they might not realize about it.

Through sense of fun and play, the children are living the language for real. yet again we can say that games play a central role in individualizing personalities of the kids.
